Position Objective

A progression in skillset for the development of parts from start to finish using deep draw stamping fundamentals, while setting up dies in presses, operating the presses and doing in process inspections.

Have the ability to utilize multistep draws, comprehend preforms, size them appropriately and adjust drawing processes to alleviate cracks and thinning. This position also requires the understanding of friction and how it affects drawing parts, pressure, use of cushion pins, cone preforms, use of rubber to iron out wrinkles, and understanding of gap control.
 
Ability to set up swipes, tweak parts, draw nests, guide plates and binder plates in AutoCAD. Have the ability to understand and complete GD&T layouts, write programs and save runsheets in controls. 



These positions require safe work practices that are clearly defined within company and department specific safety procedures. 

This position offers several shift options, including:
1st shift 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
2nd shift 12:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday, shift premium applies.
2nd shift 3:45 p.m. – 2:15 a.m. Monday – Thursday, shift premium applies.
Weekend shift: 3/12-hour (36 hours/week) shift; compensated at 40 hours with shift premium.
Weekend day shift: 5:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Weekend night shift: 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
